Friends

Who we are...

The Friends of the Boylston Library is a group of volunteers who work with the library staff and trustees to provide expanded services and activities.

The original focus of this group was to provide children's activities and events throughout the year.  The Annual Fall Harvest Festival at Halloween, Holiday Ornament Making Party, and various Summer reading activities have highlighted the past several years. Adult craft classes and the annual Memorial Day book sale are also popular events.

Over the past few years, the Friends have provided admission passes to area museums and attractions for library cardholders.  These passes may be reserved and borrowed by individuals or families anytime during the year and enable Boylston residents, families, and guests to attend the Higgins Armory, the Ecotarium, the Roger Williams Park Zoo, Tower Hill Botanic Garden, Davis’ Farmland and Mega Maze for free or at a reduced admission. Simply contact the Library for more information about this program.

If you have any ideas or suggestions for the Friends, there is a suggestion box in the library's reference room, as well as a bulletin board in the children's room.  All questions and comments are appreciated.
